"Miss Vera Claythorne" played by Erika Redd
Matt began performing with CCT in 2008 portraying Allan Felix in Woody Allen's "Play It Again Sam". He followed with performances in "Proof", "Blithe Spirit", "Moon Over Buffalo", "Out of Order", "Proposal's", "Friday's" and "A Talent for Murder" and most recently in this seasons "The Foreigner" portraying "Froggy LeSuer". Matt has earned a Best Actor award for "Play it Again Sam" and a Best Supporting Actor award for George Pigden in "Out of Order" in 2010 and served as Assistant Director for "Friday's."
He is currently serving on CCT's Board of Director's and works for the City of Carlsbad Finance Department. Matt's favorite thing about performing is "Hearing the laughter of a live theater audience".

"Phillip Lombard" played by Matt Fletcher
"Judge Wargraves" played by Randy Milligan
Zeph is a CCT stage veteran appearing in his 22nd production. Zeph has most recently appeared in "A Talent for Murder", "Friday's" and "Out of Order". He has also appeared in "A Shot in the Dark", "Bull in a China Shop", "Quiche of Death", "When you Comin' Back Red Ryder". Zeph earned a Best Actor Award for his performance in "Death by Chocolate" and was Assistant Director for Best Play Award winning "Double in Diamonds" Zeph is a retired teacher, coach and administrator for Carlsbad Municipal Schools. He and his wife Kathy have two children and two grandchildren. Zeph is the recipient of the BOD Award for the outstanging achievements and contributions he has made to CCT.
"Dr. Armstrong" played by Phil Tozier
Phil has performed in over 30 productions at CCT, and has served as Director for "The Importance of Being Earnest", "Proof" and "Fridays" Most recent performances include appearances in "Bell, Book and Candle" "Oklahoma", "Out of Order" and "A Talent for Murder" portraying "Rashi" the Indian house servant. Phil works for KCCC radio as engineer and announcer and can be heard regularly on "Let's Trade Even". He recently performed at the New Mexico Statehood Centennial ceremony in Carlsbad, portraying Governor William McDonald. Phil is a winner of the CCT Board of Directors Award for Outstanding Achievements and Contributions. Phil is involved in many community organizations and enjoys collecting books and poetry.
"Miss Emily Brent" played by Gerri Wiggins
Gerri has portrayed many roles including appearances in "Crimes of the Heart", "The Dinner Party" and lead roles in "Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death", and in last season's "A Talent for Murder" which earned her a Best Actress Award. She has been involved in all phases of CCT including serving as a past President. Gerri has taught Broadway dance, tap and line dancing. Gerri is a recipient of CCT's Lifetime Award and the CCT Board of Director's Award. She enjoys traveling with husband Chuck to visit children and grandchildren.
Randy moved to Carlsbad in 1996 from Idaho with his wife Meg and immediately got involved with CCT. Randy's first appearance on stage as Mr. Manningham in "Angel Steet" earned Randy his first Best Actor award. Randy served as director on "Lysistrata" in 1999 and "Wait Until Dark" in 2005. Since then Randy has portrayed Pap in "Big River", won Best Actor awards for his portrayal of FDR in "Sunrise at Campobello (2009) and followed that up with another Best Actor award in in 2010 as George Hay in "Moon Over Buffalo". Randy also earned directing awards for Best Play for "Play It Again Sam" (2008) and "Blithe Spirit" (2010). Randy's most recent performance was in "The Foreigner" portraying the evil "Owen Musser".
Randy works as an instructor at NMSU-C and can frequently be seen portraying an array of historical figures at Chautauqua events as well as appearing in films and hosting shows on Channel 23. Randy enjoys travel, tech theatre, TV and sports. It is a well known fact that Randy is married to the best cookie baker in all of Carlsbad. Randy enjoys acting because "It's a great escape to be someone totally different, and it's a great social event."
"General MacKensie" played by Sam Plumlee, Jr.
Sam's most recent role earned him a Best Actor Award for his portrayal of "Holly Crawford" in "Fridays" in 2011. Sam also won an acting award with his debut performance in "Rumors" and continued with roles in "A Very Rich Woman", "Arsenic and Old Lace", "Twelve Angry Men", "Scapino", "Women of the Jury", "Wait Until Dark". Sam also appeared in the cast of "Oklahoma" last summer. He is also a recipient of the CCT Board of Director's Award for outstanding service.
Sam works for the Carlsbad Municipal School District as Systems Administrator. He is a member of First Baptist Church and loves to play guitar.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Erika moved to Carlsbad a few years ago and got involved with CCT soon after. Erika is a graduate of the University of Washington where she studied Archeology as well as Acting.
Erika was seen earlier this season in "Bell, Book and Candle" playing "Nichole Holroyd". She has also appeared in last season's "A Talent for Murder" and Neil Simon's "Proposal's" playing the memorable but not so intelligent model "Sammii", earning her a Best Minor Character Award and is now taking on her first major role with CCT as the lovely Miss Claythorne. Erika works for Tessenderlo Kerley Services. In her spare time Erika enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her three dogs.
"Henry Blore" played by Zeph Roberson
"Rogers" played by Jim Tharpe
Jim returns to the stage following his appearance in "The Curious Savage" this fall where he portrayed the memorable and lovable "Hannibal". Jim's resume also includes performances in "Lettuce & Lovage", "Bedroom Farce", "Rainmaker", "Proposals" and an award winning role in "Death by Chocolate". Jim is a recipient of the CCT Board of Director's Award for his outstanding achievements and contributions.
Betty's most recent appearance on stage was in the "Curious Savage" in September 2011 portraying the evil and conniving "Lily Belle". She also took on the role of "Aunt Eller" in last season's musical "Oklahoma". Her first appearance at CCT was in the musical "Nunsense" portraying "Sister Wilhelm".
Betty moved to Carlsbad two years ago for her husband to take a job working for Los Alamos National Lab. The retired school teacher is now a self proclaimed "domestic goddess".
"Mrs. Rogers" played by Betty Wilson
"Anthony Marston" played by Dave Kump
Dave brings 27 years of stage experience to his role as "Marston". Dave was an active member of the Cracker Barrel Players in Grants, New Mexico for 11 years. He also performed at Granny's Opera House at White's City as the villian in the melodrama for 16 years.
Dave is retired from his managerial position with WTS at the WIPP project. His wife Teresa works as a massage therapist. You'll often see Dave riding his bike and he is also active with the C.A.R.S. club and rebuilds carburetors for performance cars.
Husband and Wife, Bob and LaWanda Scholl have teamed up as Co-Director's on "And Then There Were None".
Bob and LaWanda's extensive involvement with CCT goes back to the early 1970's.
Bob has acted, directed and won many awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Carlsbad Foundation Arts & Humanities Award.
His most recent on stage role was in this season's "Curious Savage" playing the evil step-son "Samuel". One of Bob's most memorable roles was in "Out of Order" in 2010 where he played the Detective, "Jack Baker" the not so "dead body". He was so convincing in fact, that CCT awarded him a Best Minor Character Award for his efforts.
Bob can also be seen frequently hosting his program on Channel 23 "Faces of Carlsbad". In addition Bob hosts a weekly radio program on KCCC Radio.
LaWanda's most recent efforts include directing last season's "A Talent for Murder" and "Out of Order" where she also portrayed the memorable role of "Mrs. Willy"
Her body of work also includes "Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death", "Bull in a China Shop", and "Death by Chocolate" which earned a Best Play Award.
LaWanda has earned the CCT Board of Director's Award and Lifetime Achievement Award. She has served as a CCT Board Trustee and is a past Board President.
LaWanda works at Candlewood Cards and Gifts as well as The Cats Meow and shares her love of their many cats with husband Bob.
"Narracott" played by Bob Scholl
Bob returns to the stage once again this season, following up an earlier appearance in "The Curious Savage". Bob most recently received a Best Minor Character Award for his portrayal of Detective Jack Baker in "Out of Order". In addition, he has been honored with CCT's Lifetime Achievement Award and the Carlsbad Foundation's Art's and Humanities Award.
He along with wife LaWanda are serving as Director's for this production.
