Carlsbad Community Theater Season Schedule
Our season premiers with this funny and heart-warming comedy by John Patrick.  Ethel P. Savage the sole benefactor of her late husband's $10 million estate, suddenly finds herself committed to a mental institution by her conniving step-children who are determined to get their greedy hands on what remains of their father's estate.  But what has she done with the money? Is Mrs. Savage really crazy, or just crazy like a fox?

      "Bell, Book and Candle" 
              directed by Phil Tozier
CCT's holiday production from 1996 is revived as we present this "enchanting"  comedy by John Van Druten about a modern-day witch who casts her love spells for others, but cannot fall in love herself, leading to many humorous complications.  

This play inspired a movie that starred Jimmy Stewart, Kim Novak and Jack Lemmon and later become the inspiration behind the popular t.v. series "Bewitched".

Our season begins in September and with another play to follow in November.  Our spring schedule concludes our season with plays in February and April followed by a Summer Musical Fund-Raiser in July.

Set in a resort-style fishing lodge in rural Georgia, this comic romp features a shy young man who pretends he does not speak English, which makes him privy to many secrets, setting up many hilarious antics.  

This play was last performed by CCT in 1985 in collaboration with the University Player's at NMSU-C.  

The Foreigner first opened in 1984 and won several awards including "Best New American Play" and "Best Off-Broadway Production".

There will be Murder in the air in April as CCT brings Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" to the stage for a third time. 

Ten little statuettes fall from the mantle to the floor and break one by one as those in the island house succumb to a diabolical avenger ! 

This popular mystery-comedy was performed in 1972 and again in 1998. 

The 2012 version will be directed by the husband and wife team of Bob and LaWanda Scholl, CCT veteran's and some of the original members that have been around most of the theater's 50 years.
                 SHOW TIMES AND DATES:
             April 20th and 21st at 7:30 p.m.
             **Matinee April 22 at 2:00 p.m.
             April 27th and 28th at 7:30 p.m.
            





       SUMMER 2012
CCT will once again present it's Summer Musical Fundraiser in late July.  This year's production has yet to be announced, but we are sure it will be a real crowd pleaser.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Theater Box Office 15 minutes prior to curtain unless the show is a sell out.
